Earl Sixteen (or Earl 16) is one of the most active roots reggae singers today. He began his career in the 70s and worked with the most important producers of the classic reggae era: Lee Scratch Perry, Augustus Pablo, Coxsone Dodd (Studio One), Mikey Dread, Joe Gibbs, Linval Thompson, Sly and Robbie, Derrick Harriot, among others. With his distinct voice and conscious message, he has been scoring hits in Jamaica and England for more than 30 years. Even without leaving roots reggae, Earl sixteen never stood still. In recent years he has been producing with great names such as Zion Train, Mad Professor, Gussie P and Manassah. In 2009 he released the single "Pirate’s Game" produced by DIGITALDUBS (click to listen), a "rub-a-dub" with Brazilian seasoning to sharpen even more the desire to see this true legend in our country.
