Bassist of the band "Gueto" was brutally murdered!

The murder of bassist of the band Guetos, Antônio José de Moura Sousa, Abel Moura, which occurred on Monday night inside Colégio Luís Viana, in the Alemanha neighborhood, is practically solved. In the early hours of yesterday, police from the Beira-Mar Central Duty Station, under the command of delegate Benilson Gonçalves, arrested unemployed Alessandro Costa de Jesus, Fofo, who confessed to having participated in the crime. When arrested, the accused was already packed and preparing to flee to the city of São Bento.

At the Central Duty Station, where he was taken, Alessandro confessed to having held the victim so that his accomplice Francisco das Chagas Batista, Cobrinha, could deliver the stab wounds that resulted in his death. Fofo explained that on the night of the crime he was returning home in the company of Cobrinha and, as they passed in front of Colégio Luís Viana, where Abel Moura worked as a security guard, decided to ask for water. From the gate, the victim reportedly said he had no water. The response, according to Fofo, irritated his accomplice, who tried to jump the wall and assault Abel Moura. In the confusion, Fofo held the musician so that Cobrinha could deliver the two stab wounds.

After the crime, the two fled the scene. Fofo hid at an aunt's house in the João Paulo neighborhood, and in the early hours of yesterday was preparing to flee to the municipality of São Bento. After Fofo's arrest, police went in search of Cobrinha, who has not yet been located.

Although Alessandro Costa presented this version, police believe the crime may have occurred after the accused were caught by the victim inside the school. Yesterday, Alessandro Costa was taken to the 8th Police District station in Liberdade, where he was interrogated by delegate Gilmar de Sousa. Cobrinha's arrest is expected at any moment.
