Out now: LKJ in Dub: Vol 3, from dub poet Linton Kwesi Johnson!

Dub poet Linton Kwesi Johnson released his album LKJ in Dub: Volume 3 on Tuesday. The album includes new songs and characterizes the artist who performs his show on bass, alongside dub bandleader Dennis Bovell, who is also responsible for some of the mixes. It is anticipated that this new dub chapter will consolidate even further, based on the work LKJ in Dub: Volumes 1 and 2.

The dub poet has consistently composed memorable bass lines, danceable rhythms deeply rooted in reggae tradition as a vehicle for his work. Johnson and Bovell have worked together over the past two decades, and their strong partnership and professionalism will be very evident on this new work. The release of this album is another milestone that Chapelton's dub poet, recognized as one of the genre's pioneers, marks this year.
