Surforeggae collaborator and, above all, brother, dies!

Once again Surforeggae is the stage for sad news. In the early hours of August 10, a brother and Surforeggae member died... for love of music and way of life. Jorge Rodrigues Neres suffered a serious accident near Av. Robert Kennedy, between 2 and 4 AM. Due to the high speed at which the driver was operating the pickup where Jorge was, and the poor conditions of a stretch of the avenue, while trying to avoid a car, the driver lost control and rolled over several times.

Jorge was the only one without any type of support, hitting his head repeatedly. One of the passengers still managed to get out and call rescue, but it was too late. Besides brother Jorge, two other friends were there who are now doing well and suffered minor injuries compared to the 23-year-old who had a promising future ahead. Jorge was studying Law at Unisa, working and had a promising future because of his determination. Those who knew him, even briefly, know the jewel we have just lost, a true friend.

The condominium where he lived mourns the departure not only of a companion for all hours, but also of a sensitive and fair creature toward the world around him. Be with God, my brother... you are deeply missed.
