New turnaround in the phonographic market!
New turnaround
Following the recent acquisition of RAS Records by the label "Sanctuary Records" (TROJAN), another major Reggae label, "Creole Records", was purchased. The "Sanctuary Records" group is now the largest independent holder of musical copyrights. Creole was founded in the early 1970s and had already sold its catalog to Sanctuary since 2001, only now being fully acquired by the group.
Artists from the Golden Age of Jamaican Music, such as Boris Gardiner, Errol Dunkley, Wayne Wonder and others, have songs released by Creole, now owned by TROJAN. The first titles to be released by the Creole label after the acquisition, as well as new RAS Records releases, will come out by the end of the year.
