Merchants' petition blocks the 2nd AçãoReggae! Afterwards they complain that nobody helps the periphery!

Merchants in the Jardim Peri area, an emerging São Paulo neighborhood, are joining together in a petition against the holding of the 2nd AçãoReggae & Surforeggae Festival. For very minor reasons, compared to the serious problems found in this and thousands of neighborhoods in greater São Paulo, once again the local city hall supports the restriction.
Besides bringing entertainment and culture, since the bands chosen for the event have a lot to convey, the fact of having shows, recreational activities and other projects weakens marginality and awakens the perspective that the system itself already inhibits among low-income audiences.
There are many complaints about the lack of this kind of initiative for the peripheries, and yet there are still people who veto projects that only come to bring some structure and fun to the locations predetermined by the organization. To work around such setbacks, we are deciding on a fixed, easily accessible location for everyone, where we will have more space, fewer "meddlers" and more ACTION.
And as the lyrics of the song say, pertinent in this case, from an old rap:
"50 years are now completed, of the "anti-racism" law in the constitution... infallible in theory, useless in everyday life, so **** them with their demagoguery..."
If everyone does not walk together, and strive for the best for the audience we want to reach, there will not be a strong enough reason for some weak mind not to think the worst in order to have the minimum... survival. Unfortunately there are many people who find it "interesting" to leave things as they are.
Apologies to everyone who believes in the project, especially to the reggae fans of Jardim Peri.
