Lutan Fyah, one of the biggest names in Ragga, is arrested in Spanish Town, Jamaica! Check Surforeggae!

Lutan Fyah, one of Ragga's top highlights in recent years along with Capleton, Sizzla and Anthony B was arrested on the night he would receive the "EME - Excellence in Music and Entertainment" award in Jamaica. The artist, who lives in Kingston, the capital of the island received a warning from Spanish Town police who were wanting to talk to him about a fire that occurred in early December in a community house. Lutan, who drove to the police station to find out what was going on, was arrested immediately and missed the award ceremony he would receive the same night. The incident began when at a Lutan Fyah concert, one of the gifts started screaming that the artist used to get involved with underage girls. Trying to get a satisfaction from where the protester was getting those ideas, the artist went to his house but couldn't find him. Soon after, he learned that the individual's house was on fire. Neighbors said they saw the artist burn down the house, but he denies the charge. Lutan Fyah claimed that the people on the scene know who was really responsible for the incident but are afraid to speak. The artist is known to help the community a lot, being sponsor of several projects ranging from sport to the fight against AIDS.
