BREAKING: Michael Rose leaves Black Uhuru again! Exclusive on Surforeggae!

The frequent fights between Michael Rose and Duckie Simpson are nothing new. Once again Michael left the group after an argument with Duckie for a reason that never pleased Black Uhuru's leader: Michael Rose's solo career. After releasing the album "The Saga" (2007), recorded with Sly & Robbie, Michael Rose achieved great critical success. But this success bothered Duckie Simpson, as Black Uhuru's lead vocalist (Michael Rose) got used to releasing the albums with his name and not the group's name. With Michael Rose away, Duckie Simpson has been performing with another singer who has already been part of Black Uhuru - Junior Reid. Reid also recently received several awards for the "Irie FM Awards", an event promoted by IRIE FM, the most famous when talking about Reggae in Jamaica. One of Junior Reid's most acclaimed albums alongside Black Uhuru was "Brutal", still with the late vocal backing Puma Jones, who died of cancer.
