Junior Dread in Japan! Reggae Style's vocalist will perform twice in Hamamatsu!
Junior Dread, singer of the Reggae Style group, will take all your talent and knowledge from culture reggae to the "earth of the rising sun". He embarked on September 16 for Japan and will perform in 2 shows in the city of Hamamatsu. The Brazilian community will attend the Hunters club to check out the best of Roots Reggae Nacional, songs from the Em meio ao Caos album, and songs from its new work that will soon be released. Coming from the ghettos of Vila Guilherme, famous São Paulo neighborhood, Junior Dread had his first contact with music through his father and the Baptist church choir. Self-taught, learned to speak and write in English only with the dictionary, translating songs from Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Black Uhuru, etc. In 1999 he joined the Reggae Style group and released the album "Em meio ao Caos" by Indie Records, boosting the group to tour Brazil by opening Tribo de Jah shows and playing with great names of Reggae National and International like Dennis Alcapone, Don Carlos, ISrael Vibration, Tiken JAh Fakolli, Pioneers, and others.
