Now Official: Leões de Israel releases "Ethnos Brasilis", their 3rd work! See it on Surforeggae!

With compositions in English and Portuguese, the band expects the public to like the new work, which comes with a mix of electrifying sounds, always keeping the reggae heavy, a brand of the group. “This CD is full of vocal arrangements with a well worked and heavy instrumental that are already characteristic of Lions. The group is more mature in relation to previous work. The Killa (vocalist) fit in perfectly. We abuse the vocals and there is also an adapted version of the song Bicicleta, Zé Renato”, explain Edu SattaJah (contrabass and backing vocals), and Lion Farmer (guitar). Cd is already on sale at Livrarias Saraiva and Cultura and Loja Johnny B. Good at the São Paulo Center. Soon, the group goes on tour for disclosure and will make an autograph afternoon in the capital of São Paulo. Together ten years ago, the group Leões de Isreal shared the stage with great names of the World Reggae, such as The Wailers, Israel Vibration, Alpha Blondy, Pablo Moses, Don Carlos, Groundantion, and names of the national scene, such as: Ira, Detonautas, Cordel do Fogo Encantado, Planta e Raiz, Tribo de Jah. In 2006, the band was invited “Rebel Salute Festival” at Jamaica, being throughout the history of the festival, the only Brazilian reggae band invited. Names such as: Burning Spear, Thirld Word, Inner Circle, etc. In the passage of the The Wailers by São Paulo in March, Lions perform the opening show. On May 9, 2009 the band will be performing an autograph afternoon at Loja Johnny B. Good in São Paulo to celebrate the release of the album.
