Rafael Pondé debuts a website and releases a new album on a German label!

Bahian singer and songwriter Rafael Pondé is launching a new website and single at the same time. The song "Ela deixou o mar", released this Monday (13), is just a preview of the guitarist's next album, the fourth of his career. "Sorriso de Flor", which will be officially released on September 24, arrives with some new features: it will be distributed by the German label Peppermint Park, initially only in digital format. According to the musician, the label defined digital format as the means of promotion. "This is part of their policy and follows a trend that is already quite common abroad," he notes. Tuned in, the songwriter knows well the advantages the internet can provide, especially making his music travel the world faster. Proof of this were shows in countries such as Germany, Spain, Portugal and Argentina. In his first international recording, Pondé brings the audience "an introspection into his musical and inner world, combining with singular mastery Funk, Soul, Rock and Brazilian styles". "Sorriso de Flor" has seven songs in total and counted on heavyweight reinforcement. The album was mixed and recorded by Hans-Martin Buff, whose résumé includes work with names such as Prince, Joss Stone and No Doubt. The album will only be officially released at the end of the month, but it is already worth checking out the first preview of what's to come.
