IRATION STEPPAS, the vanguard of dub, on tour across South America!

Celebrating 20 years,Iration Steppasis one of the most respected sound systems in the UK today. As the name suggests, their specialty is “uk stepper” - a reggae/dub style created in London in the 90s in a futuristic vision of roots reggae. "Inna 3000 style", as defined byMark Iration- the founder of the collective - the sound built with electronic drums, keyboards and synthesizers is militant. With the bass drum marking 1, 2, 3, 4... the dance is a euphoric march, driven by the abysmal bass. And the vocals bring a conscious message, to bring down the walls of Babylon! It's no surprise that theIration Steppasis cited by several DJs and dubstep producers as a major influence. InLeeds, the collective's hometown, they are the hosts of theSub Dubparties that welcome big names in dub and reggae, dubstep and jungle to play on their sound system - a wall of speakers - which is reputed to be one of the heaviest in England! After touring around the world, they come to South America for the first time playing atPerú(www.limadubconference.com)and in Brazil - April 31st in Rio and May 1st atSP.
