Harrison Stafford, composer and vocalist ofGroundationhas just released his new solo work titled "Madness" (Madness). The idea and lyrics came about duringGroundation's tour of Israel in 2010. "Madness is what comes when injustice and fear are allowed to fester and invade humanity through the generations. The album is one man's attempt to reconcile thousands of years of history and religion that have flowed through the region and now become entangled in the unsustainable situation of Israel/Palestine," says Harrison. For the project, "Professor", as it is known, invited true Reggae legends. On drums, Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace ("Rockers",Burning Spear),Flabba Holt(Roots Radics) on bass,Dalton Brownie(Augustus Pablo,Mutabaruka) on guitar and Lloyd "Obeah" Denton (Israel Vibration,Horace Andy) on keyboards. In addition to such renowned musicians, lending their voices in appearances, there are none other thanWinston McAnuff,U-Roy,Bernard Collins(The Abyssinians) andAshanti Roy(The Congos).
