That The Abyssinians are one of the greatest legends of Jamaican and global reggae of all time is nothing new. However, the group that recorded classics such as "Satta Massagana", "Abendigo" and "Declaration of Rights" had already gone more than a decade without recording a new song. The vocal trio was in Brazil for the first time in 2012 and moved everyone wherever they went. The extensive tour and the great possibility of returning in 2013 and in the coming years was one of the main motivators for "Hair and Beard", the name of the new single, to be released. The track is sung by Donald Manning, original member and one of the founders of The Abyssinians, who in June turns 73 years old in top form.
