Producer who recorded artists like Bob Marley & The Wailers, Burning Spear and Dennis Brown dies!

Harry Zephaniah Johnson, better known as"Harry J"or"The Liquidator", a great Jamaican music producer passed away on April 4 at the age of 68 after a long battle with diabetes. Among the biggest hits produced by Harry is"Young gifted and Black", by the vocal duo ofBob AndyandMarcia Griffiths.Harry Jbecame best known for his eponymous studio, whereBob MarleyandWailersrecorded their first 4 albums forIsland Records. Names (in addition to Jamaicans) such asRolling StonesandThe Whopassed through there. His work withIsland Recordshas led him to record some of the island's biggest artists such asBurning Spear,The HeptonesandDennis Brown. Rest in peace, Harry!
