Australia on alert! A dangerous new synthetic drug called MARLEY is on the streets!

The state of Victoria, Australia, has issued an urgent health advisory for users of a new synthetic drug called MARLEY. The drug got its name because it was developed to copy the effects of marijuana. If "desrespeitoso apelido" wasn't enough, the drug is really dangerous and sent three men to the hospital with severe chemical reactions after using it.

The men allegedly bought the drug in Melbourne, in a sex shop in the southeast region of the city. Health officer Michael Ackland expressed concern that the drug would spread elsewhere, putting thousands of young people at risk.

I strongly recommend that anyone who has Marley or any other synthetic drug in their possession immediately stop its use."

Last Wednesday night, the police found a man aged approximately 20, very agitated and confused, who shortly afterwards suffered a seizure and had to be taken to the hospital. Two other men, both in their 40s, shared the drug use and had to be rushed to an ICU.

Ackland says that the scenario is warning, and that they are doing everything to ensure that the drug "Marley" does not become popular. Other synthetic drugs aimed at marijuana users are sold under names ranging from K2, Kronic and Ash Inferno to Black Widow and Slappa.
