Rafael Pondé makes a beautiful reggae version of a Dorival Caymmi song for his centenary! Watch!

Singer and composer Rafael Pondé, who was previously part of the bands Diamba and Natiruts, has just released a reggae re-recording of the song “Canoeiro” by Dorival Caymmi. Produced and recorded by Pondé himself and Swedish producer Sebastian Notini in Salvador, the track celebrates Caymmi's centenary. The recording is making excellent impressions and generating many positive comments in several countries. The two artists intend to record other songs together soon. Good Reggae in sight!
