In Brazil, there are a series of internet radio stations dedicated to Jamaican rhythm. Although roots reggae, especially from the 70s, is predominant in most of them, Rádio ’New Roots Extreme’, run by a team of DJs from different parts of Brazil, is focused on news and artists from the new generation of Reggae.

This work is super important, as it encourages the public to discover new artists and keep the Reggae flame burning, in addition to encouraging shows by new attractions in the country.

The ’New Roots Extreme’ was created by DJ Rastamanic who already lived in Japan, where he was up to date with all the news that came straight from Jamaica, as the Japanese are also big fans of Reggae.
