Omar Moore, also known as I-Kushna, was born in Spanish Town, a satellite city of Kingston. Music entered his life early, through Norris Man, a world-renowned singer and also his father's best friend. I-Kushna, which means "I Am Black" (in reference to the first black African warrior), began his career singing on sound systems in Kingston. The young singer of the new generation has been strengthening ties with Brazil since 2011, when Jeff Boto, producer and founder of Dubatak Records label, went to Jamaica and invited him to produce his first album. With 11 tracks, "Irie Feeling" features appearances by Derajah, Kush Mcanuff on drums and musicians from the Brazilian scene.
