The song "Loba Leoa", featuring singer Laylah, speaks about the strength and fighting spirit of women.
The Feminine Hi-Fi label, the country's first dedicated especially to female reggae voices, is an arm of the musical project Feminine Hi-Fi, which took its first steps in March 2016.

Born from the idea of creating a street party in soundsystem format with only women on vocals and vinyl selections, the project has already appeared at events such as Virada Cultural (SP), Mês da Cultura Independente (SP) and Festival P.E.R.I.F.É.R.I.C.O. (SESC/RJ).
In addition, Feminine Hi-Fi promotes free street mini-festivals every quarter, always bringing together more than 15 women in their lineups.

"Loba Leoa (Rugido Ecoa)" describes the setting of a soundsystem session. It also speaks to the sensory and emotional dimension that this whole context brings to the soul and heart of each person at such events.
The feminine gaze highlights the importance of not doubting the leading role of women in this scene, how women are pressured by gender and challenged in their capability.

The single is already available on Bandcamp, SoundCloud, and YouTube, and soon on other music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, Google Play, and Apple Music, among others.

The lyrics are by São Paulo singer and songwriter Laylah Arruda, who is also one of the founders and serves as executive producer of the project. Laylah, one of the most important voices in Brazil's sound system culture, spent six years with Quilombo Hi-Fi, one of the first São Paulo sound systems in Jamaican style.
The song was recorded at Dubatak Records studio, by producer Jeff Boto, and mastered at Flap C4 by Luís Lopes, with the heavyweight team of Bruno Dupre on guitar, Lucas Barreto on keyboards, Rica Caveman on bass, and Fabrício Elijah Togni on percussion.
