On the 23rd, Portela Café hosts the "Moretti Convida" festival with singer and songwriter from Minas Gerais Celso Moretti, who will take the stage to celebrate 37 years of career and prominence on the national reggae scene. Moretti is the pioneer of Reggae in Minas Gerais and one of the five oldest artists of the genre still active in the country.
I'm eager to take the stage with these giants of the Bahia music scene. It will be a memorable night to celebrate my career with great partners and friends - states Moretti.
The Festival will also feature the electrifying soundsystem of Ministéreo Público, with whom Moretti will improvise using his famous "Moretez", a language he created for freestyle.
Salvador is the first of six Brazilian cities to host the Moretti Convida Festival, which will also stop in Belo Horizonte (MG), Porto Alegre (RS), Santo André (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and Teófilo Otoni (MG). The project is sponsored by Net Claro and supported by the State Cultural Incentive Law of Minas Gerais.

Celso Moretti will perform songs from his latest CD, "Estilingue", released in 2015, along with his biggest hits such as "Primo José", "Vô Com Cê", "Não Pare a Luta", "Farol da Barra" among others from his five albums. The band Aspiral do Reggae will back Moretti, with special guest appearances by Bahia reggae icons Sine Calmon, Kamaphew Tawa and singer Pali.
