Israel Vibration receives an important award recognizing its legacy! Check it out!
Israel Vibration, founded back in the 1970s, the golden age of Jamaican roots reggae, has just received an important award in recognition of a legacy that already surpasses 45 years of history. Israel Vibration's trajectory began in a rehabilitation center for polio victims. The vocal trio formed by Lacelle “Wiss” Bulgin, Cecil “Skelly” Spence and Albert “Apple” Craig conquered the world and entered history from the first album.

From 1996 onward, the vocal trio continued without “Apple”, who pursued a solo career. The consolidation of Israel Vibration also came through the musicians who have accompanied them for many years - the band Roots Radics, formed by legends such as Errol “Flabba” Holt, Lincoln “Style” Scott (already deceased), Dwight Pinkney, Tee Bird and Steve Golding. Last Saturday, represented by “Wiss”, the group received in Jamaica the JARIA award (Jamaica Reggae Industry Association) for its contribution to the island's rhythm. Receiving the JARIA award is a great honor. It is a representation of the people. It is all about them, and they are the ones who represent us here.” - says Wiss in an interview with the newspaper Jamaica Gleaner.
