Pedro Beydoun has released another video that is part of his first solo EP, titled “O Anúncio”. After placing “Os Meus Sonhos” and “Juntos Chegar”, the singer and songwriter shares the video for “Miscarriage of Love”. Pedro Beydoun is known as the vocalist of Tribo de Jah, a pioneering Brazilian reggae band, where he shares the microphone with his father Fauzi Beydoun. With a very roots reggae feel and modern production, “Miscarriage of Love” talks about the end of a relationship, but at the same time the rhythm conveys an idea of liberation. It is like a plant that needs the pruning of wounded branches to grow stronger. Moving forward hurts, but it is good for life. And the video also conveys this very well”, says Pedro. Written in English, the song also shows the artist's versatility as a songwriter. He also worked on executive production of the filming alongside Ivanna Serra. The direction of the video, recorded at 2Hype Originals (São Paulo) and Bar da Japa (Santo André), was handled by Rubens Romero. The idea of the video is to explore the dancing vibe that reggae has in a way little spread in urban places. That is why individual contemporary dance was chosen, because you can dance alone wherever you are”, explains Pedro.
