In difficult times and necessary isolation, people are learning to reinvent themselves. Many Jamaican artists have devoted this moment to composing songs, especially with an uplifting message to ease stress.
Skelly, one of the vocalists and leaders of Israel Vibration, has just shared through the group's newly created Instagram (@realisraelvibration) an unreleased video in which he shows the composition process for a new song - “Brighter after the storm”.
The track carries a message of hope and also thanks to those on the front line for humanity. In the post, he also reports that he has been learning to collaborate remotely with members of Roots Radics. The video is the result of a “back-and-forth” between him and Steve Golding, the legendary Jamaican musician who recorded guitar and keyboard to serve as a first guide for the song.
The post also leaves the tip that each person should study and learn something new during this period. Apparently he is already doing that, using technology in favor of his music and message. Lucky us.
