Tribo de Jah, one of the pioneers of Brazilian reggae, has just released a new music video and single on all digital platforms. The song “Man of Babylon” (Homem da Babilônia) is part of the 35-year career agenda that the band completes in 2020.
Composed by Fauzi Beydoun, “Man Of Babylon” recalls Culture classics, which carry an undeniable legacy left by Joseph Hill and now in the hands of his son Kenyatta. The work also confirms Tribo's roots essence.

According to Fauzi, although it was written about a year ago, the song seems to speak about the current critical moment in which humanity has nowhere to run.
"With the arrival of the coronavirus, the song sounds like something prophetic, because it brings a message that portrays the difficult period the whole planet is going through” - explains Fauzi.
