In honor of the traditional street parties so common in Salvador, veteran Luiz Caldas chooses reggae as the main rhythm of his latest album of 2021, titled "Cabeça Pronta".
This was the sound that played in all the tents at the festivals, and this memory is so clear that I wanted to record it in this album, taking the opportunity to celebrate Bahia and its joy”, comments Luiz.

"Cabeça Pronta" is the 117th album in the artist's monthly release project, and is now available on the main streaming platforms. The choice of the album's name is also a celebration, this time of the human being's ability to grow and evolve.
We are born as a blank book that is getting ready, being written, gaining content, storing stories and knowledge. A book can be a bucket of treasures, and so can a man’s head, that’s the idea.”, he explains.
In the recordings, Luiz signs most of the instruments, such as guitars, keyboards, drums, percussion and acoustic guitar. In addition to Nagib, who shares the authorship of “Colheita” with Luiz, the album features compositions with long-time partners such as Cesar Rasec (“Jasmim”) and Sergio Peres (“Mil Caminhos”).
