Another one! After Robbie Shakespeare, the reggae world mourns the passing of legend Garth Dennis!

While we are still "digesting" the sad news of the death of bassist Robbie Shakespeare, another Reggae legend has just said goodbye to Zion. Garth Dennis, an artist whose mentors were Bob Marley and Joe Higgs, was one of the founders of two iconic vocal groups: Black Uhuru and The Wailing Souls. Garth was 72 years old and had lived in the United States for more than three decades. The artist grew up on the streets of Trenchtown and recorded a series of hits with his fellow musicians. With Wailing Souls he left his mark on tracks such as Things & Time, Jah Jah Give Us Life to Live, Waterhouse Rock, Very Well, Sweet Sugar Plum and Old Broom. Rest in peace, warrior.
