Consolidated by their music in the unmistakable voice of Fauzi Beydoun, and by the forcefulness of their messages, the roots reggae band from Maranhão has accumulated thousands of fans throughout Brazil and the world. On June 24th, Friday, Tribo de Jah will be in São Paulo to present the show commemorating 35 years of its significant artistic trajectory.
The presentation in São Paulo will feature Libra interpreters for PWDs and the box office will have a charitable event, with no entry fee, these will be distributed in exchange for 1kg of non-perishable food.
The repertoire of this show features a selection of songs from the band's hits, which marked generations, and also the most unreleased songs from the new album "Até Que o Bem Triunfe no Final", released in 2021, also as part of the 35th anniversary celebrations.
These two years of pandemic were terrible for artists, but despite the difficulties inherent to this period, the band managed to produce a lot of new material. We renewed the entire show and repertoire to celebrate these 35 years of career, it was natural to rethink the band's moment and its role as a reference of the roots reggae style, in a very harmonious and happy way.
Now, at this time of resumption of the cultural market, we have a very busy schedule. And very excited about this return to the road, renewed energy and the desire to meet the fans again", shares Fauzi, who has just received the title of Ludovicense citizen in recognition of the deep relationship he has built with the "Brazilian capital of reggae".
As a protagonist of the explosion of the country's reggae scene, abroad the band became the great reference of rhythm in Brazil. This entire trajectory will be reviewed and celebrated in this Tribo De Jah 35th anniversary show.
Project covered by the notice of support for decentralized cultural projects in multiple languages from the Municipal Department of Culture.

The Tribo was born in São Luís do Maranhão, in an effervescent scene in the 80s where reggae was embraced by the masses. It became a phenomenon first in the ghettos and then took over the entire city, the interior of the state and Brazil as a whole.
