Die Mitglieder von Banda RAIZ TRIBAL sind Kinder von Mitgliedern einer der beliebtesten und charismatischsten Reggae-Bands des Landes, Tribo de Jah. RAIZ TRIBAL entstand in der Hauptstadt des Bundesstaates Maranhão, São Luis, lebt heute aber in São Paulo. Die Initiatoren Gill Enes und Keké Enes, Söhne von Netto Enes (Gitarrist von Tribo de Jah), schlossen sich zusammen und beschlossen, die Band mit dem Ziel zu gründen, als Werkzeug kultureller und musikalischer Ausdrucksform der Erfahrung der einfachsten und bedürftigsten Menschen der brasilianischen Gesellschaft zu innovieren. Keké Enes was part of Tribo de Jah for 5 years and recorded 3 CDs: “The Balylon Inside 2006”, “Love to the World Peace to the Peaple 2007”, the latest “Refazendo 2008”, and the DVD “Live in Amazonas” in Belém do Pará. He has also accompanied international artists: Tiken Jah Fakoly, Don Carlos, Andrew Tosh, Pablo Moses, Dennis Alcapone, Clinton Fearon ex-The Gladiators, and the Professor of Reggae in Brazil, Nengo Vieira “Tribo de Abraão”, recording his 1st DVD “Avivamente”. The band’s first CD - "Sintonia" - released after four years of history, matured and created repercussions in the music segment with patience and dedication as ingredients. Recently the second CD was produced, named “Reggaeraggarootsskadub”, which sums up the different forms and segments of reggae music. The boys have exclusive original songs, such as "Oh! Lua" and "Arte Final", songs that cannot fail to be sung at the show.
