Born on the island of St. Croix, Batch was inspired by music at a very young age. Having been exposed to musical equipment and instruments and records, he developed his interest in music. In his teens he began playing drums and learned other instruments at church. After finishing school, Batch was already playing at large-scale events as drummer for Danny Tucker, an experienced Jamaican singer. Subsequently, he formed the band Motion as vocalist together with brothers Eddie "I-DE" and Reggie "I-GE" Beazer in the city of Boston, USA.
They won the best Reggae band contest in Boston for five consecutive years, having shared the stage with big names during that period such as Tony Rebel, Spragga Benz, Sizzla, Bushman, Buju Banton, Capleton, Anthony B, Determine and Louie Culture. With faith in Rastafari, Batch also ventured into production, having created his own label "Sound V.I.Zion" in 1999. Through it, he released six of his own albums: "Who you are", "Keep the faith", "Jah Guidance", "To the root", "I-ver strong" and "Vizionary". Batch continues to be one of the biggest names from the Virgin Islands and is currently touring with the band Zioniers alongside other great musicians from the Virgin Islands.
