Founded in mid-2005, Be Livin seeks to express through music its message about the state of the world we live in, looking for a way to contribute to the audience. The band focuses on original songs, with a strong message combined with the heavy groove of bass and drums, the transcendence and power of keyboards, the punch of guitars and the potency of vocals.
Its greatest influence is V.I. reggae from the US Virgin Islands, from icons such as Midnite, Bambu Station, Ikahba, Dezarie, Phil Merchant, Ras Batch, Niyorah, Junior P, Pressure BussPipe among others. It also has influences from Jamaican reggae by great legends such as Twinkle Brothers, Black Uhuru, Burning Spear and Bob Marley.
