Everyone should keep in mind that African Reggae is not limited to Alpha Blondy and Lucky Dube, but to the joy of all Roots Reggae lovers, every day a new Reggae talent emerges from the sacred lands of our Mother Africa. Brother Ayouba is one of the new African artists standing out. He is from the Ivory Coast, a country of several other artists such as Alpha Blondy, Ismael Isaac, etc. Ayouba has already represented Africa in a worldwide documentary "World Cultures" and in radio and television debates about religion, cultures, Reggae music and Rastafarianism. He is a black belt and 3rd dan in Taekwondo and was a gold medalist in the State of California (USA).

In 1991, due to political and social tensions, he fled his country bound for the USA. Once there, he studied Arts, Literature, English, German and Philosophy. Due to the need to support himself, he began teaching French and Karate. Burning is his 1st CD, released in the USA by his own label (Solitaire Production), and distributed in Africa by Jat Music (subsidiary label of EMI-FRANCE). The entire CD was produced by Ayouba himself.

From the first song "Thanks and Praises" to the optimistic rhythm of "Reveillez-Vous" to the heavy bass line of "Burning", one can notice the perspicacity of this young Rasta musician. His songs are sung in English, French and Dioula (dialect spoken in the Ivory Coast) and profess words of wisdom and enlightenment with a true and authentic Reggae beat. Surely Ayouba provokes a supreme vibration, and will surely be considered a new icon of Reggae. The CD features guest bands: "Native Elements", "Dub Nation", and "Iration".
