Dezarie is one of the greatest revelations of world reggae. She emerged to the world in 2001 with the album "Nemozian Rasta" on the Midnte Branch I label. The following year she appeared singing on the compilations "Culturellenium II", "Weep Not" and "Talkin Roots". In 2002 Dezarie released her first official album on the I-Grade label... the album bears the powerful name "FYA", and featured as backing band none other than Midnite. This album was acclaimed by fans, DJs and critics worldwide and one of the world's most important reggae sites, www.reggae-reviews.com says "Wonderful album, perhaps the best female reggae CD of all time".
In 2003 the partnership with Midnite continued, and Dezarie released her most successful album "Gracious Mama África". With this album and her recent tour of the west coast of the United States, she was invited in 2004 to participate in one of the world's best music festivals, the "Sierra Nevada World Music Festival" and after participating in the festival, she was quickly recognized as one of the planet's most important reggae singers. In 2007 the singer came to Brazil for the first time and success was immense, passing through 7 cities the singer drew crowds at all her shows.
Already at the beginning of 2008 she released another reggae masterpiece, the CD "EAZE THE PAIN", her third official CD with 13 tracks of the purest roots reggae and from its release date to today is one of the best-selling CDs at the world's largest virtual reggae store, Ernie B's.
