Donna Marie emerged in 1989 with the cover of Lynne Hamilton's song "On The Inside". This song became an instant success, originating the LP "Reggae Music Vol. 1", produced by Sidney Brooks of the legendary Pioneers. As a child, she was part of the choir of a Pentecostal church. Respected by R&B, POP and Gospel audiences, Donna Marie scored several successes, many of them versions of great compositions, such as Horace Andy's "Rain from the Sky".
Donna Marie also breathed the air of great world divas like Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, where the original singers' successes were transformed into reggae. She characterizes music in general with much emotion and love: "Music is the spice of life, and I feel blessed to be able to express different emotions with music... that's why I'm very grateful" - she says. Donna Marie is present on various compilations from Charm and Jetstar labels, such as "Pop hits inna reggae", "Big People Music", "Pure Lovers", etc.
