Jacob Miller recorded his first disc for Coxsone Dodd, "Love Is A Message" (aka 'Let Me Love You'), in 1968 at age 13. The record was not a hit, and Miller returned to studios later in the early 1970s, cutting singles for Augustus Pablo including "Each One Teach One", "Keep On Knocking", "False Rasta", "Who Say Jah No Dread" and "Baby I Love You So" — many of which found popularity in the UK.\r\r\nIsland Records initially complicated crediting, but Miller’s fortunes improved when he joined Inner Circle. By 1976 roots rhythms produced hits like "Tenement Yard" and "Tired Fe Lick Weed In A Bush". Miller’s vibrant stage presence and Roots Rock Reggae delivery helped Inner Circle become a top Jamaican act in the late 1970s, with enduring songs such as "All Night Till Daylight" and "Forward Jah Jah Children."\r\r\nHe performed at the famous One Love Peace Concert (1978) and appeared in the film Rockers (1979). Miller died tragically in 1980 in a car accident shortly after visiting Brazil with Bob Marley.
