Singer, songwriter and MC. She began her career in 1999 with the band Camarão na Brasa. In 2005 she started a solo career and took the nickname Lei Di Dai, even featuring in a "Rolling Stone" magazine article in 2006, where she was crowned Queen of Dancehall Ragga in Brazil. Her music brings danceable beats with conscious and positive lyrics, which is why she partnered with various music producers and released several singles.
Her 1st album, "Alpha & Omega", released in 2008, was the best-selling in the genre, and for that reason she was nominated by MTV in 2009 at VMB "Video Music Brasil". She toured Europe with 9 shows and great impact. She represented Brazil on the MIXTAPE by South Rakkas Crew from Los Angeles, alongside major names in world Dancehall Ragga/Hip Hop, such as the partnership with Jamaican Mr Agony, which produced the song and video "Smokin Sensi", released on the program "MTV na Brasa" in 2010.
She also participated in other MTV programs, Manos & Minas on Tv Cultura, NGT, open TV and Tv Brasil. She created the parties Jameika, Catch fire, Dancehall and the project "Dance Ragga", which became go-to spots for rhythm lovers.
She is also the creator and MC of the Sound System "Gueto pro Gueto Sistema de Som". Created in 2012, the project holds Sound System events around the city, bringing not only music but also dance and graffiti to the audience. In 2013 she released her Mixtape "Ragga na Lata", mixed by her DJ Vinnieman.
She performed many shows in 2014 and participated in various festivals throughout her career such as: Reggae4life alongside Mad Professor (UK), Festival Mestiço in Portugal, Satélite 061 and Latinidades Afrolatinas in Brasília, Artes Integradas in SBC, SP Na Rua, Virada Cultural at Sesc Santana, Sankofa festival at Sesc Vila Mariana, Mostra Sesc Cariri in Ceará, música no Deck project at Sesc Santana, Circuito cultural, 461 years of SP on the Zona Leste stage 2015, Vaca Amarela festival, youth month at CCJ, MCI independent culture month and Amaphiko RedBull festival. She also participated in the #PULSO2015 project at Red Bull Station, where she recorded the album LEI DI DAI 10 ANOS #Quemtemfétávivo.
