Neto Trindade began his career in 1985 as bassist for the band Indecisus, and recorded his first vinyl album in 1987 as part of the Contra Ataque compilation that brought together punk bands from across the country, released by the Ataque Frontal label. In 1988 he joined the São Paulo band 365 as bassist and vocalist, recording 2 CDs and a compilation. In 1993, as vocalist for Indecisus, he took part in a tour of Argentina, performing shows in 8 provinces over one month.
Back in Brazil he met Trindade in Rio de Janeiro, a place where positive energies and closeness to nature inspired Neto to blend his entire musical background into a new sound mixing the rhythms that have accompanied the artist's career: Reggae, Rock, Forró and Brazilian Popular Music.
With the goal of surpassing himself as an artist and musically translating all the knowledge acquired over years on the road, Neto Trindade solidified his career through the 2000s, causing the number of his works and fans to grow each day, both through his compositions and lyrics full of feeling — a trademark on his albums — and through the simplicity with which Neto treats each fan.
His audience consists of young people who follow Neto Trindade's career both through his reliable presence at shows and through the internet. With a first-rate band, a competent technical team and his immense charisma, he has a large number of fans and his name is a guarantee of sold-out venues. He currently performs many shows between São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, appearing at renowned venues of large and medium size.
In the 2000s, already with an extensive repertoire of original songs, he released his first solo work titled NETO TRINDADE E O BANDO DA LUA, recorded at Midas studio in São Paulo. With this first CD he reached the mark of 10,000 copies sold. Among many shows in São Paulo (city and interior), southern Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro (city and interior). With a large audience already formed, in 2003 he recorded his first live CD at Projeto Equilíbrio in São Paulo, gathering 2,000 people for the recording, released by producer Circuito Reggae and label Kaskata's Records; during this period, still reaping the good fruits of the first album, he partnered with TV stations SBT and Bandeirantes and placed his songs on the soap operas 'Jamais Te Esquecerei' (SBT), 'Cristal' (SBT), and 'Mandacarú' (BANDEIRANTES), recently including a special appearance on the soap opera Chiquititas (2014).
In 2007 he recorded his third original CD titled "POSSO VOAR", this time produced by his former bandmate from 365, Mingau (Ultraje a Rigor). Neto Trindade e o Bando da Lua presents his new EP titled "Cinco", bringing a mix of Forró, Reggae and Rock — the true New Brazilian Popular Music.
With 5 original songs it demonstrates the maturation of his work. A talented composer with great personality, an unusual timbre, sharp humor and wit, original poetry and a peculiar way of playing guitar, he enchants audiences wherever he performs, winning over fans of all ages.
