Musical influence has always been present since childhood. And even with the presence of various styles, reggae was the destination of Álvaro Olivares, better known as Rebel-I, a young Peruvian who in 2006 released his first solo album – "Inna Riddim Style". Rebel-i had active participation in the Peruvian Reggae scene since 2004, where he participated as vocalist and composer of the band "Mulla wisA". In 2006 he decided to move from Peru to Argentina and form the band "Uniendo Raices". Inna Riddim Style, his first album, was recorded and mixed in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina and is a totally independent production.
The album features the participation of various artists, such as Negus Shabaka, from St. Croix, Edwin – vocalist of the band "Pureza Natural" from Panama, besides the Colombians Kaia and Tsunami Ossua. Rebel-I was preparing a tour for the album in Lima, Peru at the end of 2006 and intends to reach various South American countries with the single Oh Girl!, which will be part of his second album, "Inna Riddim Style Vol. 2".
