Riddim is an Argentine band formed in 1995 in southern Buenos Aires, which tries to keep alive the sound and message of classic reggae with some touches of Jamaican ska. It has three CDs released independently: "Roots Riddim Reggae", "Remando" and "Remando Dub".
On them participates the dub rastafari poet Benjamín Zephaniah, who recorded poems over the rhythmic base of the riddim. In recent times, Riddim is consolidating itself as one of the main reggae bands in that country. They perform almost every weekend. Among some of them stand out: Quilmas Rock, Baradero Reggae, ND Ateneo and Festival Montevideo Reggae.
