Semente da Paz formed in May 2002 in Salvador with a clear mission: play Reggae rooted in Nyabinghi while drawing from Ska, Rocksteady, Reggamuffin, Dub and Dancehall. With two vocalists and a repertoire of original songs, the band explores themes of unconditional love, respect for nature and social issues, aiming to inspire positive change. They have shared stages with international acts such as Groundation, S.O.J.A and Steel Pulse, and played major festivals including Universo Paralello and República do Reggae.
Their album FOGO FOGO showcases polished production and contemporary compositions that underline the group’s moment of artistic maturity.
