Soom T is an Indian from Glasgow known to many for her eclectic vocal style and massive collaborations. He has participated in more than 50 albums since 1999, with artists such as The Orb, T.Raumschmiere, King Creosote, Miss Kittin, The Bug, Mungos Hifi, Bus, Asian Dub Foundation and many other style definers. His vocal ability and incredible talent need no introduction. Over the past 10 years, Soom T has become known in the music industry as a light, comical and somewhat eccentric person with exceptional vocal talent, a definitive style, a subtle but highly distinctive voice and an extremely strong political and spiritual point of view, which permeate her poetic compositions.
Since 2007, she has been releasing tracks with the Scottish label Scotch Bonnett, part of the Mungo’s Hifi collective, a work that culminated in her biggest hit, the internationally known single “Did you really know”, surpassing half a million views on YouTube. Hits such as “Dirty Money” and “They all Lie”, in addition to his last album released in 2011 in partnership with the German producer Disrupt, allowed him to undertake numerous tours throughout Japan, China, Europe, Scandinavia, Mexico, USA and Canada in 2010, and also to Brazil, USA, Mexico and India in 2011.
