Hailing from San Diego, California, award-winning reggae group Tribal Seeds became known for their infectious energy during the show and their spiritually driven music, made up of emotional melodies and lyrics that recall the roots of reggae. Originally started by two brothers, Steven Rene Jacobo [lyrics, vocals, rhythm guitar] and Tony-Ray Jacobo [producer, keyboardist], Tribal Seeds also has six members, including: Tony Navarro [guitar], Carlos Verdugo [drums], Jose Rodriguez [keys, percussion] and Victor Navarro [bass].
With incomparable musical talent and an authentic sound, they have established themselves at the forefront of Californian reggae, and today the band is among the biggest reggae bands in America, with tours carried out in several countries on the continent. Tribal Seeds manages to please people of all ages in a peculiar way, just attend a reggae event in the United States and you will come across a legion of fans.
On the first CD, the band self-titled the album, "Tribal Seeds", which was released in 2008. The second album “The Harvest” was released in June 2009, both considered the best albums of the genre on ITunes in their respective years. The album "Tribal Seeds" won the title of "Best Album in the World" at the San Diego Music Awards in 2008.
In 2011, Tribal Seeds released a new EP entitled "Soundwaves", which reached the top of the main music sales sites in the United States. After all this success, he shared the stage with bands such as; Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction, MGMT, Matisyahu, Sublime, The Wailers, SOJA, among others.
