Ukiemana is a Roots Reggae band from Minas Gerais formed in 2002, and has been establishing itself on the national scene independently, through fans spread throughout Brazil. In his songs, a message of peace and hope is conveyed in deep lyrics and a strong, pulsating rhythm. It addresses themes such as love, positivity and spirituality in the roots of Jamaican reggae, unified in the ancestry of sacred music.
The band has performed on stages all over Brazil, always accompanied by a loyal audience that admires and follows all the work. Passing through large capitals such as Rio, São Paulo, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, Florianópolis, and even cultural festivals in small cities, such as Pouso Alto (MG), Parati (RJ), Matinhos (PR), Itanhaém (SP), among others, Ukiemana has already been on the road for 10 years.
With three CDs and a DVD released and more than 150 thousand views on the Internet, Ukiemana is a band with an extremely contagious and inspiring stage presence, which everyone wants to see, feel and dance to.
