Yahadanai is undoubtedly an artist who breaks boundaries. His impressive vocal ability and poetic lyrics are winning over thousands of fans of authentic Roots Reggae around the world. Originally from Guyana, Yahadanai currently lives in Harlem, New York – United States. His musical influences are global, and he brings together the emotional beauty of an African, the charisma and power of a Caribbean singer, and the intonation of Western artists. His first album, "One Atonement" showcases all these influences blended into stunning songs.

"One Atonement", meaning "One Reparation", largely possesses 3 essential things in a great Reggae album: Emotion, original sound, and a positive and strong message. The opening track, "Rise", speaks extensively about the suffering of people around the world. Other tracks such as "Gratitude" and "Wadada" show messages of love and harmony in a world living in disharmony.

The album features two major guest appearances – one with Abja on "Chant Out", and the other from Pressure, of "Star Lion Family" (brilliant band from the Virgin Islands) on the beautiful song that is a tribute to the black woman – "Best Thing". Produced by Laurent "Tippy" Alfred, "One Atonement" brings together some of the best musicians from St. Croix, such as bassist Kenyatta Itola, guitarist Tuff Lion, as well as Dion "Bosie" Hopkins, drummer of Midnite. The music features a well-diversified arrangement of rhythms ranging from classic Roots to acoustic nyahbinghy journeys.
