Sierra Nevada World Music Festival!

Sierra Nevada
For those thinking of venturing around the world in search of Reggae shows and great adventure, a good option is the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, which takes place in the United States and brings together the biggest stars of World Reggae. Last year Brazil was represented by the Bahian band Olodum, which represented Brazilian black culture very well with its high doses of African percussion and doses of Bahian swing. See the list of artists already confirmed for this year's shows, which will take place on June 21, 22 and 23.

THE ARTISTS

Sizzla Marcia Griffiths with Dean Fraser Leroy Sibbles Culture Sugar Minott Bamboleo Mahotella Queens King Chango Jah Shaka Sound The Melodians Niney the Observer Prezident Brown Johnny Osbourne Metromedia Sound Stone Love Nor-Tec Collective Gjallarhorn Les Yeux Noirs Abijah Martin Campbell Midnite Fab Five John Brown's Body Sultan32 (GlobeSonic NYC) It may seem funny, but the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival and Reggae On The River are the two best Reggae festivals in the world and, incredibly, neither of them is held in Jamaica.
