Herbert Vianna sings at the Reggae B show!
RIO - Herbert Vianna really enjoyed returning to the stage. This Tuesday, the Paralamas do Sucesso leader once again delighted fans by making a surprise appearance at Reggae B's show, which includes Paralamas bassist Bi Ribeiro.
Bi's band performed at Ballroom, in Humaitá, South Zone of Rio, around midnight. Herbert took the stage in the second half of the show, invited by the bassist. He played and sang "Cherry oh baby" by UB40. Then, Lulu Santos, the night's special guest, joined the band to perform "Assaltaram a gramática", his song that Paralamas recorded early in their career. Once again, Herbert played and sang and also took part in the encore led by Lulu.
The public performance was Herbert's second since the ultralight accident in February 2001. The first time the musician took the stage since then was on June 11, when the Paralamas leader made a surprise appearance at Argentine composer Fito Paez's show, a longtime friend.
