Reggae B features Fernanda Abreu and Pedro Luís e A Parede in Rio!

Continuing the residency at nightclub Ballroom in Rio de Janeiro, band Reggae B, featuring Bi Ribeiro (Paralamas), welcomes tomorrow Fernanda Abreu and Pedro Luís e A Parede. Reggae B performances always take place on Tuesdays. Reggae B emerged from an invitation by reggae group Negril (band produced by Herbert Vianna) to Bi Ribeiro (Paralamas) to make a special appearance at a Bob Marley tribute show.

After that, Bi Ribeiro along with João Barone called some friends and started doing shows. What was meant to be just a project became a band, which today includes musicians Bi Ribeiro (Paralamas) on bass, Jean Pierre (Cidade Negra and Obina Shok) and João Fera (Paralamas) on keyboards, Cláudio Menezes (ex-AfroReggae) on guitar, Marlon (Vitória Régia) and Bidu Cordeiro (Paralamas) on trombones, and Ronaldo Silva on drums. On vocals, Valnei Ainê (Negril) and Gustavo Black Alien (ex-Planet Hemp).

During this Ballroom residency, Reggae B will also welcome Nando Reis, Lulu Santos, Branco Mello, Frejat, Gabriel O Pensador, Digão, João Barone, Jorge Benjor, Seu Jorge, Nelson Meirelles, Don Negroni, Tom Capone and Rás Bernardo, among others.
