Chimarruts, in São Paulo for the first time, have shows scheduled with the band Mosaico!
With two CDs released and more than 60,000 copies sold in the south of the country alone, the band Chimarruts will play in São Paulo for the first time on March 11, 12, 13 and 14. This is a great opportunity for São Paulo audiences to discover the work of this outstanding reggae band from Porto Alegre. Chimarruts will open shows for the band Mosaico, despite holding a more prominent status. For those who don't know, Chimarruts is to the south what Planta & Raiz or Natiruts are to São Paulo. In the states of RS and SC, Chimarruts plays major venues and performs about 10 shows a month. They are coming to São Paulo simply to promote their work to a new audience. Their first CD even includes a somewhat familiar track here called "Iemanja", which sold 60,000 copies. The second CD, recently released, has already sold 15,000 copies to date. The lead single "Deixa Chover" from the second album is getting heavy airplay on radio stations across the south. They will perform here on March 11, 12, 13 and 14, following Mosaico's tour schedule, adapting to the harsh reality of still being an independent band, since the venues they will play are not the large halls Chimarruts is used to performing in. Keep an eye on the dates and don't miss the shows by Mosaico and this excellent band from the south, Chimarruts.

DATES AND SCHEDULE

March 11. March 12. March 13. March 14.
