More news for lovers of Jamaican Roots Reggae: Barry Brown dies!

More news for lovers of Jamaican Roots Reggae: Barry Brown dies!
Shortly after the irreparable loss suffered a few days ago with the death of the legendary Clement "Coxsone" Dodd, the great singer Barry Brown died last Saturday, May 29, 2004. Brown had been battling health problems for quite some time, which left him very weak. Witnesses who were at the "Sone Waves" studio in Jamaica said the singer fell and hit his head, passing away shortly afterward. Barry Brown was a great idol of the 1970s and recorded several hits such as "Coo Pon Your Corner", "Far East", among others. Along with artists such as Leroy Smart, Inner Circle was one of the pioneers of the "Rockers Reggae" style.
