Rapper Jay Z and Damian Marley record a track with samples from Jacob Miller and Sister Nancy!

The famous rapper Jay Z recently recorded a track that blends reggae and dancehall together with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley. Titled "BAM", the track will be on the artist's upcoming album “4:44” and uses samples from two Jamaican classics, “Tenement Yard” and “Bam Bam”, by Jacob Miller and Sister Nancy respectively. Jay Z recorded the track in Jamaica, where he met Damian Marley and Sister Nancy. Recently, Chronixx—one of reggae's revelations—also recorded a new version of "Tenement Yard" with Inner Circle (the group that revealed Jacob Miller) called “Newscarrying Dread”.
